Beaches Habitat “OceanGate at Hammer and Ales” @ Atlantic Beach Brewing Company
May 31 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Raise a glass to OceanGate at Hammer and Ales, May 31st! Can you help us
raise funds leading up to the event to support Beaches Habitat for Humanity?
I’m trying to raise $5,000 before the Event.

https://secure.qgiv.com/event/account/631926/

On Thursday May 31st at 6pm, we will be taking over the tap room at
Atlantic Beach Brewing Company for Hammer and Ales, from 6pm-10pm. We will
be launching a new Habitat-themed beer on the ABBC Menu. You get a free beer
and a chance to win a stay in the Bahamas included in your ticket! We will
also have live music and hors d’oeuvres served. Please join us by clicking
the “Tickets” link to the right!

But wait! it’s not all about beers, music and food.

At Beaches Habitat for Humanity, everything we do is with the ultimate goal
to help Beaches Habitat homeowners.

These individuals have been building their homes alongside other volunteers
on our construction site at OceanGate. OceanGate is our largest construction
project ever, a community of 70 townhomes at the intersection of Mayport
Road and Atlantic Boulevard… and it is almost done!

Can you help? I would like to raise $5,000 for Beaches Habitat for Humanity
before the event. If you’ll be coming, go get your ticket through the
“Tickets” button! Your ticket counts as a donation towards the goal. If you
can’t make it, I hope you’ll consider donating to help a homeowner attain
strength, stability and self-reliance. Thank you!

Thanks for your help on this important fundraising event!!

Liturgy Service
Jun 3 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

We gather every Sunday Liturgy. The word liturgy means “work, or work of the people,” and it is work of the people, not for the people (which is the distinction between liturgy and magic, since magic is directed for some outcome for people).  Liturgy is different than a service which often is entertainment at its worst, or passively watching and listening to what is going on at church.  Liturgy, rather, is something we do together.
