St. Philip Neri Prayer Outreach ~ Pray Requests

Let us all join together to pray for the intentions of the church this week.  In the name of Jesus, we first ask the Holy Spirit for openness.  “Ephphatha!  Be opened!” ~ Mark 7:34.  May our hearts, minds and wills be open to receive your healing Lord.  Help us to heal physically, emotionally and spiritually, as well as psychologically. Remove all fear and doubt.  Help us pray in confidence, so we may have your peace.

~ For the military, firefighters and police force, may God protect them and continue to heal the wounded.

~ For our President, government officials and world leaders.

~ For our teachers, give them strength and endurance; help them be good examples for our children.

~ For the homeless, hungry and unemployed.

~ For our mental health.  Lord, take away our fears, so we may have your peace.

~ For healing in all churches and faiths ~ that everyone is respected and included so we can live as one family, God’s family.

Bless those who bless us; Bless those who do not bless us!

~ Jesus tells us, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” Matthew 5:44.  Therefore, let us also remember to pray for those who are not especially easy to love.  Teach us how to love Lord!

Lord, open our minds, hearts and wills to receive your wisdom, your love, your truth, and your peace.  Give us the courage to change our hearts.  Amen.
