“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared for us in advance.” Ephesians 2:10″

… for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” Phillipians 2:13

While we at St. Philip Neri believe that we are saved by faith in Jesus, by the Grace of God, and not merely by the good works we do, doing good works is the only possible response to the fact that we have been made right with the Loving Father of All. Living our faith is absolutely vital, for if we do not live it, we have no faith at all but merely “belief.” Faith produces action.“…and his faith was made complete by what he did” James 2:22.

“As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead” James 2:26. 

Together, we work to identify and nurture each individual’s God-given gifts so we may each love and serve others in accordance to God’s will.
