Liturgy Service
Nov 10 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

We gather every Sunday Liturgy. The word liturgy means “work, or work of the people,” and it is work of the people, not for the people (which is the distinction between liturgy and magic, since magic is directed for some outcome for people).  Liturgy is different than a service which often is entertainment at its worst, or passively watching and listening to what is going on at church.  Liturgy, rather, is something we do together.

Sex for Grownup Christians

Life Enrichment Workshop  Tuesday, November 19, 2013,  6:00-8:30 PM

Presented Rev. Dr. John Oliver

It’s about time that we did this:  A night for grownup Christians to reflect on sex. Beyond the do’s and don’t’s, beyond the rules, and beyond 2000 years of negative theology and spirituality.

If you would like an engaging reflection of sexuality from a sex-positive, incarnational perspective, join the Rev. Dr. John Oliver and the church of St. Philip Neri Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 6-8:30 pm.

We have food for the body and the spirit. Join us!
