CHRISTMAS EVE COLLECTION

Our Christmas Eve collection goes to helping 3 families. As is our  tradition, the Christmas Eve collection is for these families. Anyone who cannot
attend the liturgy but wants to contribute, we ask they do so  before Christmas Eve so I have some idea how much we will collect. That way I know how much to give each family. In this time of need, we may end up with more than three families.  As always, St. Philip Neri is  a giving church that never ceases to help the needy!

Peace, John+

Liturgy Service
Dec 27 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

We gather every Sunday Liturgy. The word liturgy means “work, or work of the people,” and it is work of the people, not for the people (which is the distinction between liturgy and magic, since magic is directed for some outcome for people).  Liturgy is different than a service which often is entertainment at its worst, or passively watching and listening to what is going on at church.  Liturgy, rather, is something we do together.
